Why we age

As human beings age, the level of NAD+ drops sharply, resulting in a number of age-related diseases. The supplementation and enhancement of NAD+ has become a research hotspot in human anti-aging and the treatment of degenerative diseases.

After nearly a hundred years of scientific research, NAD+ has been shown to be vital for health, and is an important factor in the maintenance of cell mitochondrial function and resistance to aging.

Increasing NAD+ levels assists health and disease control

  • Lack of NAD+ level is associated with cancer, metabolic, neurodegenerative, and age-related diseases.

  • Lack of NAD+ affects metabolism, redox reaction, immune response and inflammation, DNA repairs and more.

Supplementation of NAD+

How NAD+ can be enhanced:

  • Supplementing the body with NAD+ is ineffective as NAD+ molecule itself is too big and cannot be absorbed by the body

  • The most effective method of boosting NAD+ is via

    • Supplementation with NAD+ precursors (NA, NAM, NMN, etc…)

    • Inhibition of NAD+ degradation

    • Activation of NAD+ biosynthetic enzymes
